Fountain of Indomitable Spirit
This circular, fountain monument has a statue of a striking man at the helm of a ship at its center. The cape about him is draped over a tunic that is tucked under a large belt buckle. His posture indicates a man navigating through a mighty storm. The clean-shaven man wears thick boots that dig into the phantasmal deck of the ship, a determined, confident look is on his face. A slender sword on his hip accompanies him as he holds the wheel of the ship in one hand, and a lantern displaying the symbols of Dom, Alariel and Pomit in the other. To the cardinal points near the edge of the fountain, four heads of a great serpent-like beast look upon the man. One of the serpents sports a molting, sickly collection of scales inscribed with the symbols of fallen empires on which perches a head with rotting features about a terrifying face. Another wears scales of bones and blades while the head protrudes stone from its snarling maw in the shape of flames. The third has a reflective, black stone in place of its eyes and a body composed of scales that appears as cloaks and daggers. The last has scales akin to the appearance of coins stretched over a face that twists with envy apparent.
