The Ivory Crest is a vessel under the charge of La Sainte Marine Royale. Perhaps the most striking nautical vessel of the Royal Escort Ships, the Ivory Crest sports smooth masts that reach high into the air on wood seemingly made of pearl, alabaster and marble. Not only the horse figurehead, but the entire ship is expertly carved to appear to be constructed of smooth feathers and fins. The great, white ship’s triangle sails look like great fins and wings reaching out from the body of some strange but graceful sea creature. The very wood of the ship glistens like jewels against the light of both sun and moon like droplets of water flung from a swan’s wings.
